Happily Ever After
Since 2014 I have asked women of all ages whom I know to write about their ideas surrounding the concept of marriage. I then allow the degree of hope, joy or dissonance that has been shared with me by each of them to influence materials, methods and compositions as the paintings in this body of work evolves.
Pond Series
The lily pond paintings are an extension of the "Happily Ever After" series where the metaphor of cyclical renewal in nature is the controlling concept.
Outside of the series, grace is found within the play of line, light and color upon the ordinary, as a story is realized.
