Pivotal Moment
The title, Pivotal Moment, reflects the profound experience a woman may have as she decides to walk down the aisle on her wedding day. The wedding gown is a metaphor for all that marriage is and the dark ground represents all that is unknown to her, the leap of faith. Not visible in the image is the spiritual blue found near the edges of the canvas.
